Nothing is collected

InvestingLite does not collect, store or transmit any personal data itself. It does carry advertising, and what that means is spelled out in full below rather than buried.

Your numbers

Every calculation runs in your browser using JavaScript on your own device. The figures you type are never sent to a server, because there is no server to send them to — the whole site is static files.

Your inputs do appear in the address bar, so that a scenario can be bookmarked or shared. That happens locally in your browser. If you copy that link and send it to someone, you are sharing those numbers with them; nobody else sees it.

Cookies and storage

No cookies are set. Two preferences are kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them between visits:

• Your chosen currency
• Whether you prefer light or dark mode

Both stay on your device, are never transmitted, and are cleared when you clear site data. Neither identifies you.

Advertising

This site shows adverts served by Google AdSense, which is how it is paid for. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure those ads, and in some configurations to personalise them based on your prior browsing.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you will be asked for consent before any personalised advertising cookie is set, and you can refuse — the site works identically either way, and you will simply see non-personalised ads instead. You can change that choice at any time using the privacy link in the consent banner.

You can review or limit Google's use of your data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalisation at myadcenter.google.com.

Analytics

There are none. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixels, no heatmaps and no session recording. The advertising described above is the only third-party code on the site.

Fonts and external requests

The two typefaces are served from the site's own domain rather than fetched from a font host at page load, so viewing a page does not make a request to a third party.

Server logs

The hosting provider serving these files may keep standard access logs, including IP addresses, as essentially every web host does for security and operational reasons. That data is handled by the host and is not accessed, analysed or combined with anything by this site.

Your rights

Data protection law gives you rights to access, correct and erase personal data held about you. Since no personal data is held, there is nothing to request — but if you have a question about any of this, write to hello@investinglite.com.

Changes

If this ever changes — if analytics or advertising are ever added — this page will say so before it happens, not after.
