Using InvestingLite means accepting the terms below. They are short, and written to be read rather than to be impenetrable.

1. What this site is

InvestingLite provides free educational calculators and general information about investing arithmetic. It applies mathematics to figures you enter. It does not know your circumstances and does not attempt to.

2. It is not financial advice

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a personal recommendation. InvestingLite is not authorised or regulated as a financial adviser in any jurisdiction, holds no client money, and neither offers nor arranges any financial product. Decisions you take remain entirely your own. The full disclaimer forms part of these terms.

3. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The arithmetic is tested and believed correct, but no guarantee is given that it is free of errors, that the site will be available uninterrupted, or that any result is suitable for any particular purpose. Every projection depends on assumptions you selected and is not a forecast.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InvestingLite and its operator accept no liability for any loss or damage — including financial loss, lost profits or lost opportunity — arising from use of, or reliance on, this site. You use it at your own risk. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting;
• scrape or republish the site's written content wholesale as your own;
• present output from these calculators to other people as regulated financial advice, or as a forecast;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

Linking to any page here is welcome and needs no permission. Quoting a short passage with attribution and a link is fine.

6. Intellectual property

The written content, design and code of this site belong to its operator. The mathematical formulae do not and cannot — compound interest is not anybody's property, and the method page sets out exactly how every figure is derived so that you can check it yourself.

7. External links and advertising

The site may link to third-party pages and may carry advertising. Neither is an endorsement. InvestingLite does not control third-party content and is not responsible for it. What advertising does and does not mean is set out on the disclaimer page, and its privacy implications on the privacy page.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows when they last were. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised version. Calculators may be added, altered or withdrawn at any time — including corrections that change a previously published result, which will always be made in favour of accuracy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, where the site is operated from, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
